The Department of Hindi has been an integral part of Baselios Paulose Second College, Piramadom, since its inception. The department offers Hindi as an Additional Common Course for undergraduate programmes, helping students develop proficiency in one of India’s official languages while fostering an appreciation for its rich literary and cultural heritage.
The department is committed to enhancing students’ communication skills, linguistic competence, and cultural awareness through an engaging and learner-centered approach. Beyond classroom instruction, it encourages students to participate in seminars, literary activities, language workshops, competitions, and cultural programmes that promote creativity, confidence, and national integration.
